The client chose two double section oak cigarette boxes and two quality Reuge 18 note movements from my stock.

The Boxes
Stripped and sanded down and then four bead feet were added to raise the box to allow for the winder key.

The Movements
Although both are Reuge 18 notes, they are made differently.
The Entertainer has a spring housing that cannot be removed, so apart from polishing the brass I have not done anything to it. The rest was cleaned and polished before reassembly.
English Country Garden was fully dismantled. The spring was dry, so it was oiled before reassembly then cleaned and polished.
