3/36 Tabatiére in Silver Birch box
This movement is not in its original box, which is solid timber with some beautiful grain.
The movement was mounted in an unusual way, being supported on short pillars. The bottom of the box has been cut away to allow the sound out. The small turned feet are flimsy and slightly out of place.
Although it needs a clean and some adjustment, the movement is in good working order and the box needs a good clean and waxing.
