2/36 Painted Box with hand painted lid. Movement by an unknown maker
2 tune, 36 note movement by unknown maker in small box with painted top.
Purchased in good working order, but the movement was very dirty as it had been over-oiled.
The the protective glass plate protecting the movement was missing.
The picture on the lid is hand painted on paper and is in a delicate state.
Tunes identified as 'I'm drifting back to Dreamland' by Jack Sadler circa 1929, and 'Not Here, Not There' by Al Capp circa 1957 as (most of) the original tune sheet is pasted to the inside of the lid.
Both tunes play to one revolution of the barrel.
