Jenny Boyd - Gentlemen's travel box
On the surface, a fairly simple restoration and re-polish.
Jenny didn't want this restored to original, but certain issues needed to be addressed:
Water ring under the polished lid to be removed.
The escutcheon was missing and there was no key.
Some tray dividers had been modified, or removed. Some were loose and the base was partly detached.
One steel loop handle was missing from the tray.
The interior velvet was in very poor shape, as was the baize on the bottom.
