Bought as part of a job lot at auction in November 2023
Probably made around 1850 and in fair condition for its age however, there are some issues to fix.

The scene is Col de Pierre Pertuis - a mountain pass in the Jura Mountains in the canton of Berne in Switzerland
The box
The tin box required a little bit of repair to some joints and there is a piece of paint missing in the centre of the lid.
There are some scratchings inside the lid and on the bottom, yet to be deciphered.
