2/69 Ducommun-Girod Tabatiére - Restoration Diary
A high quality movement by a known maker.
Restoration began on Saturday 5th July 2025, mainly because I discovered that it would only play one tune.
There's not much to say except that it needed a good clean. The stop lever hook had broken so I replaced it with a similar one from stock but needed to user a return spring, also from stock. The Female Geneva stop is missing, but is not really worth replacing at the moment.
