2/56 JGM & Co. movement for cleaning & repair

A good movement by a known maker sent to me because the click spring ratchet below the main spring had failed resulting in a 'run''. Luckily, no other damage appeared to have been done, but there were a couple of other issues to address.
The male Geneva Stop was missing it's lug, the stop lever return spring was missing and the base plate, which was made of a piece of Lino, was split, so a new plywood one was made using the Lino as a pattern.
I had another JGM&Co. movement with a wrecked comb in stock, so this proved to be good for spares.
The arbor and click spring were in good condition and, with a small adjustment to the diameter of the bearing hole, fitted perfectly.
On reassembly I found that the endless would not run properly, so I also swapped this too and everything worked fine.
Possibly the endless was damaged during the 'run'.
There were a few bent pins to straighten - none broke, which is always a relief.
