12/37 Two per turn Tabatiére by Charles Ullmann
Serial no. 6057 13 (on the tunesheet) or 100315 (stamped on the bedplate) - 1888/9
Bought at auction March 2025, this box appealed to me because it is a two per turn on a very small cylinder.
Although this means that the tunes are rather short snippets, it fills a gap in my collection.
The movement is in remarkable, thought dirty, condition, with no missing or broken parts. However, there are a few bent pins.
The case has been in the wars. It's been repaired, quite badly, but luckily the repairs are mainly hidden.
